His German background and English-language schooling enable Martin to provide optimal service to clients with cross-border cases and issues. Martin has extensive experience advising players in the European and international industry in the chain extending from the designer, producer, importer, distributor, and retail to the consumer. His understanding of and experience with other business cultures enables Martin to provide his clients with the best possible support in negotiations and dispute resolution involving foreign parties. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Martin regularly gives lectures and workshops.

His special focus is on issues of product safety, (European and international) product regulations (e.g. CE marking), product liability, and occupational health, as well as safety legislation and regulations. Martin assists his clients in drafting documents such as general terms and conditions, agreements with suppliers, and purchase agreements and assists clients during inspections by government authorities. If a dispute cannot be resolved out of court, Martin in his capacity as litigator also licensed to conduct legal proceedings.
